Brian Windham, P.E.

Brian has twenty years of petroleum engineering experience including operational experience with Umocall in Texas, Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico. Brian has consulting experience performing technical studies including reservoir and production engineering studies, asset valuation studies, log analysis, development optimization, enhanced oil recovery including CO2 injection, gas storage studies and has served as an expert witness in litigation, arbitration and regulatory matters. Brian's consulting experience covers most of the producing basins in the continental U.S. as well as international projects in South America, Australia and Africa.

 

Prior to joining ACPE, Brian was a Managing Director with FTI Platt Sparks and a Consulting. Petroleum Engineer with Platt Sparks & Associates. Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas.

• Advised Regional Bank regarding value of its oil and gas portfolio

• Performed reservoir studies and estimated flow potential from damaged Gulf of Mexico platform, presented findings to federal agencies including Coast Guard, BSEE and BOEM

• Reviewed impacts on production and reserves resulting from FPSO compressor downtime

• Reviewed CO, Flood and Development Plan for Gulf Coast Louisiana Field including review of compositional simulation results and resulting economics.

• Advised investment group on reserve value of acquisition target

• Reviewed impacts of migration from a mid-continent gas storage-field

• Performed study of production characteristics and pipeline infrastructure relating to class action claims in Federall Court

• Evaluated claims in failure to develop dispute between operator and royalty interest owner

• Reviewed publicly available information, recommended candidate. EOR fields relating to anthropogenic CO2 injection project.
